| Books Hi Everyone, I am scheduled to get my baby next week Wed. I wanted to know if you have any book suggestions about yorkies. Almost like a how to manual for yorkies. It will be my 1st puppy I am excited and anxious. Just wanted to get a heads up on what I will need. I have an idea but any suggestions will be helpful. Thanks In Advance, Brandy |

| Hi, Congrats on your soon to be fur-baby. I found everything I needed to know and more here on this forum. There are several different views on several different topics and they're all from first hand experience!!

| How fun Congrats!! Cant wait to see pics!! Do you have a name yet? Did you get a boy? girl? I would honestly save your money on the book and do some research on here lol.. There is alot of information on here, and I think it is better information bc it comes from real experience. If you have a question and you can't find the answer just ask. Alot of Yt'ers know a lot on here, some people have had yorkies on here for years and years, I think that is the best information you can get!

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | I have this one, I like it. Amazon.com: The Ultimate Yorkshire Terrier Book:... I flipped through this one, too. Very basic and good for someone who has never had a dog. Amazon.com: Yorkshire Terriers for Dummies... |

| I second the Yorkshire Terrier for Dummies book. I really learned a lot from it and it's laid out simply. I also bought The Essential Yorkshire Terrier: Amazon.com: The Essential Yorkshire Terrier... . It was great and has some really good pictures too! Even though this site has a lot of awesome information, it can be kind of intimidating if you don't know the right questions to ask or the right topic to search for. I think the books can be handy in helping you learn what to even start asking about. -C
