to the extent i can. if she goes in on her own and i approach her, she will immediately come out. i always give her a treat when i put her in there, but she's too busy pouting to take it...

I don't know if this is a feasible idea, but could you put a treat in there when she's not looking so every time she goes in there she gets a treat?

yes, i've been trying to do that, but she follows me around like a puppy LOL so it's pretty difficult to do it!! only when she's eating does she ignore me, but she's done in about 90 seconds flat, so i don't have much opportunity!!!

Your little angel loks so cute!!!!... My mom gave me her round carpet cat house because her cats didn't like it at all... and i thought " there is NO WAY that izzy is going to go in that"..my said she just watch I bet she will... My mom put it in the kitchen and no more then 15 mins Izzy was inside laying in it..she LOVE that thing...and it Twilight my Chihuahua even goes near it, Izzy freaks out . Yup that's her den!!!

I used to put the kong in there with Hot Rod as well as a toy. Til this day he LUVS his lamb. It was bigger than him when we gave it to him and just took to it and gnaws on it's poor tail! lol This gave him something else that he liked.

She's a cutie for sure.

I think you're doing fine by giving her the treats everytime she goes in on her own. I did this with Pasquale. One day i was going out and had grabbed the treats and was looking for him. I couldnt find him til i realized he was IN the crate waiting for his treats LoL. Now all i have to do is grab the treat bag and he runs to his crate and goes right in!

Kong has a couple of different things to stuff it with. I've never used the can stuff but I do use the other. It's like a stick that you stuff into the kong. It's hard and they chew on it. The pain in the butt thing about it is though, when you have to push it out! You have to find something to push it with. I have a small pair of scissors that I hubby uses to push it thru. Be care though, you want to watch for when the stick gets too small, like any other treat, they can choke on it. They also have small wafer like pieces that you can get too, they go thru these too, too fast so I stay with the stick things.

I heard that you can put a little peanut butter in it and freeze it. I've not done that, I just don't know if it would make a mess or not.
