| Beautiful photos, pity the poor squirrels if she got them, those cute looks and their small size are just a trick, I wondered if they had lost the instinct to kill rodents but obviously not.

| I am so glad your baby is alright !! I let Sophie & her friend Hazel (who was living with us at the time) out to go potty in the early am while it was still dark once and heard them tree something I think was a possum. I ran like a half naked wild woman after them and got them in the house. They we only 7 & 8 months old at the time and I was scared to death for them. Whatever it was never came back

| we treat them like they are little babies and they are but we tend to forget that they are killers by instinct they wear breed to kill rodents i have a heck of a time keeping the guinea pig alive gatsby is convinced im just fatting it up so he can gnaw on it longer i have even had him attack running kittens

| These innocent, sweet faced snugglers are really cold blooded killers and stealthy hunters. Why do you think they have those sharp little teeth and laser beam eyes that can spot a peanut under the couch at 30 feet away?! And then run 90 mph to elude capture?! All sweetness and light on the outside but inside lurks the heart of a black hearted hunter! So remember when you nuzzle up to your fuzzy buddy be sure to wipe all traces of pork chop gravy off your face!

| LOL! My clan did the same thing one early morning "emergency" outside trip. When I could pull them all off the object of their fury, there was a young possum, belly up, little legs stiff in the air! i'll be swiggered if I'm going to bury a possum at 3 o'clock in the AM, thought I, so I scooped him up on a shovel and put tool and body outside the fence to take care of in daylight. Well, when I got my courage up to get the burial detail underway, imagine my surprise when I found the shovel empty! That little critter had been "playing possum"! I never told the Yorkies of their failed mission! |
