One year at least, they did a live drawing in the chat room. It was way fun because we could all trash-talk one another. Not sure they'll do it the same way. Another year, they posted a taped video of the drawing.

The chat room thing sounds like fun, but someone's gonna have to teach me to use it. I only recently learned where the link was but every time I go in the screen is blank.

Often, no one is chatting so it might appear blank. There should be a list of names on the right-hand side of people who are logged in all the time. I'm in there now if you want to check. Just click the chat button right underneith the big YorkieTalk banner.

Also, here are some older guidelines of an alternate but more reliable way to do yorkietalk chat. I'm not positive the information is still valid, but it's the last one I see.

Hi everyone, I hope the count will go up on those buying tickets for the raffle to support this wonderful site.

I think there is still time to donate a raffle prize too.

How very blessed we are to have Yorkie Talk. Where would we all be if it wasn't for Yorkie Talk, to have a site like this to come and share the love for our furloves and to learn from others. I have witnessed so many times new folks in need of help and then others during whelping and found someone always right up front ready to offer advice and share their knowledge. Giving support for others, that is what this site is so grand in doing, now is our chance to show our support for Yorkie Talk.

To those that are reading the forums and not yet a member why not join so you too can be a part of Yorkie Talk Family.

How do I buy the Raffle tickets? I would love to buy a few but have no idea of how to do so. There is no link to direct me or to purchase the tickets and I do not have a paypal account nor do I want one.

Raffle Tickets are $5 each.

To purchase raffle tickets, please Paypal $5 (or multiples of $5) to donations@yorkietalk.com
If you already have funds in your Paypal account and you send the payment as a gift (when sending, click the Personal Tab which is below the Amount, then choose Gift), YorkieTalk will not be charged any Paypal fees.

Along with the payment, please mention that it is for the YorkieTalk 2010 Raffle and include your YorkieTalk username. Within 7 days, we will PM you and give you your raffle ticket number.
