I was just looking at Sapphire... I had to do an emergency butt wash late night, so I towel dried her only. Her front half is straight, and her rear is curly, not quite as curly as Dex, but not straight either. Where's my camera????? I'll be back!

lol show us the curly butt -- my demi is going for a shave down man maltese coats are brutal too keep up it is thick and a wierd texture that matts so easily

oh and made a huge mistake not brushing out before bathing -eeeeekkk matts galore

Bath day soon, I'll let her air dry to see how curly she can really get!

Trick with blow dryer is to come or brush to separate hair to dry quicker and straighter. If part dries curly, rewet and dry again.

Oh Thank you! She's something else! Oh too that was comb not come. My Malty had horrible coat too... I always ended up with his hair in my eye for days... don't miss that. But you can't beat a sparkling white head with those gorgeous black eyes and little button nose! Makes it all worth it.

I believe Tank has a cottony coat, and it's wavy. If I don't blow dry it, it stays pretty curly when it dries after baths.
