sorry my eye rolling was not to you but to miss manners who told you it wasnt a word :thumbup: I know the definition.

The last person that I read posting a complaint about this EXACT same thing was a teenager in a pet store, being rude. That is why I picked that for an example. As far as the rest of your post, I'm not going to bother reading it. Have a great day! I'm off to enjoy the sunshine with my yorkies in their dresses :) Hmm, maybe next, I'll buy them BIKINI'S and SUNGLASSES :cool: Imagine that! ;)

Gotcha, thanks. I thought that it seemed out of character for you as I'm familiar with your posting. :) I look back now, and I read it wrong because I couldn't be bothered to finish reading the full post before yours. My apologies!

I tried to make the OP feel better too, but trying to make her understand why that may have happened...and it is very rude and ignorant but unfortunately I see many many threads here overreacting to this issue and this is the first time I've ever spoken up about it because everyone gets soooooo offended.

It is "superiority" when everyone tells her the people are "just jealous"...without telling her why exactly that would happen.

Just like every other thread where people don't seem to realize why that happens. I deal with the comments ALLLLLLLLL the time, trust me I do...and I hate it, with just sweaters and scarfs. Lord knows what I'd deal with if I were to put my Yorkie in a dress.

I didn't mean to offend the OP, I'm completely on her side!!


It's so viciously hard to get my point across here whenever I try to speak up about something, even when I'm in agreement with everyone...which I promise I am, just not on the "jealousy" part.





BTW, for some reason, YT is red-underlining the word "couth", I found that strange too and thought perhaps I didn't know the correct spelling of the word. :confused:

Just for the record: this is a word: couth (usually uncountable; plural couths)

Social grace, sophistication; manners; refinement.
That man has no couth.

Whether or not some one is jealous or not, the fact remains that saying something derogatory to someone is just bad manners for what ever reason. I seldom dress my Gypsy in clothes, but I have had her bring me one of her dresses and stand in front of me so I can put it one her. My chi hates clothes and will wiggle right out of them. So I think Gypsy likes them.If I had Gypsy out in a dress or shirt and someone sd something then my hubby would def come to my defense.

I'm surprised what you don't know what it means to have manners and common sense. But hey, we're not all that lucky!

Just because someone puts a dress or even sunglasses or a bikini (so need pics if you do that LilMissy! :p ) does not mean they think they are a human being.

We get that you are totally against the idea you have made it VERY CLEAR... however, I suggest you re-read the reply by "Britster" to see how to go about saying you wouldnt do it without offending large masses in the process... you have so far called people who dress their dogs, stupid and crazy even if you did it in an underhanded, sarcastic way.

In lots of your posts you complain that you are "bullied" on YT... maybe you should look at your delivery.

I stood my ground in here for ONCE when I keep my mouth shut in every single post I post in, even when I disagree.


The only time I had a problem was when people were accusing me of knowing where Cookie was, which many many many people jumped to my defense telling people they were basically out of their mind. So get your facts straight.

LOL! We aren't trendy enough for bikin's. I do enjoy the pics that other YT'ers have posted of their yorkies in swimwear though. So cute!

On a sidenote, I can't imagine thinking a dog was a human being. Last I checked, my 3 skinkids had two legs, not four...and they aren't 4 lbs and covered in hair :p I however don't see what the big deal is about dogs that are treated SO well that they have pretty clothes and get homecooked meals. I think a bigger concern should be the poor dogs that are mistreated and neglected. Those are the pet owners that are "NUTS" and deserving of such rude comments.
