My evil twin would want to say something like..."Would you like Jaime to give you some fashion tips?" On a more serious note, who the heck CARES whether a dog is wearing a dress or a bow in their hair?! Even before I had small dogs, I would have never said anything like this to anyone any more than I would tell them they need to learn how to dress their kid! |
I can't believe how malicious some people can be! I always say if you have nothing good to say don't say anything at all. Sometimes I think it's best not to say Anything. It's just not worth getting yourself upset. |
Clearly had it coming is right! Quote:

Well I just posted photos of my kids in their new outfits from Ashlee (FairyTails Fashions) on facebook and one of my "friends" replied "LOL, this is a bit much, even for you"... so if anyone has any nice responses I am taking suggestions ;) |

OMG! Those are sooo cute. I definitely need a little girl to doll up. |
Some people are so opinionated!! I had someone look at Pixie once and say ridiculous!! I just laughed and said No she is cute!! |
Gosh. Just reading these posts is making me mad. Why do people care if your dog has on a cute t shirt or something?? I was never about dressing my dogs (before I got Lucy); but, even then, would NEVER have said anything to someone who did. |
Honestly, and no one hate me for saying this.....but I understand the general attitude of dresses looking "silly" on dogs. Most people think they do. I put sweaters and scarfs on my Poppy and I get comments from ALL of my friends like "Poor dog...." as if I'm torturing her, and I kindly let them know that she does not produce and under-coat and therefore gets cold and needs a sweater, just like we do when it gets cold. I would NEVER tell someone their dog looks silly in anything, that's ridiculous. I take it from my friends because, well...they're my friends and I take it as just normal teasing...but it does bother me a little when it is something like a sweater in December when I know that if I were to not put a sweater on her, she would be in danger of freezing. I don't get angry about it, I just brush it off, at least I know my baby is warm. The dress thing.....well, personally I would feel a little silly putting a dress on a dog...but that's me. I think other dogs look absolutely ADORABLE in dresses, it's just not my cup of tea. :) Just brush it off...they don't live in your house or live with your dog, they are a meaningless person that passes by in your day. Your :aimeeyork is the important one! :D |

Also they are very unhappy people usually trying to make others around them unhappy so smile walk away and go buy your baby a new dress and bow :) |
