No Longer a Member | Finally After bringing home Deuce, my cat decided that the cold shoulder treatment would be best for me. As soon as I got home, he'd get up from his resting place on the couch and saunter off into another room. When I would refill his food dish he would only look at the bowl, the only times he looked at me was with his ears back and face in a scowl. I wasn't sure he'd ever warm back up to me, he even stopped sleeping in my bed! But, it seems officially, he has decided all is well again. Last night I felt the weight (all 15lbs) on my bed, and he slowly climbed over me, to come rest against my chest, head on shoulder again. And this morning he went back to following me around my house, rubbing against my legs when I stopped walking. Just felt like sharing the good news. Oh, and little Deuce is still trying to figure out how the cat can magically spring from the floor to the couch, I've even caught him standing in the same spot that the cat had hopped up from, and attempt the same manuver. LOL! It never works for him, but it provides me with much entertainment |

No Longer a Member | Oh, I had to endure this treatment from him for almost 3 weeks, quite painful to me. I love both of my furbabies, it just took a while for the cat to get used to the puppy...not saying he's on playtime terms with the pup but he will let the puppy come up and sniff him, and then proceed to try to coax him to play. Then he just hops up on the coffee table and taunts the pup from there, lol. I love watching them interact, I can't wait till they play together, it should be very entertaining. |

| Aww...that's so nice the cat has forgiven you . When we brought home our first yorkie "Baby" our cat Sadie acted in the same manner but soon realized we would alway love her, too . Sibling rivalry I guess.

Donating YT 500 Club Member | I have 3 cats - a 10year old, a 5 year old 20 lb. Maine Coon, and then there is 6 year old Nat. The two that I thought would have the hardest time accepted her almost from the beginning. The one that I thought would be the most accepting (Nat) took 2 months to finally accept the fact that Bridget was here to stay. 2 long months of hissing, and growling, and spitting, and giving everyone the P.O. look .....Bridget never gave up, and never backed down - she was in his face and in his food constantly...and finally they are best buds....Glad yours finally came around!!!

No Longer a Member | I'm glad there hasn't been any aggression from my cat, though I have heard him growl at the pup a couple times (puppies can get so playful) Fatso is 5 years old and I adopted him about 6 months ago, and he took to me pretty quick. I got him from a home that had 3 cats and 4 dogs (2 bedroom apartment with 2 adults, talk about crowded ) He's been through quite a few homes, and I suppose that he just got used to it just being him and I for a while that the puppy just upset his routine, and probably worried him some. I'm glad he's good with me again. |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | LOVE the name. 2 of my cats were from 2 different ferrel litters born in my shed. Nat - short for Natale' which I believe is Christmas in Italian (at least thats why we named him that....although he can be like a little GNAT) was found outside my back door Christmas morning!!!! I'll bet Fatso was very glad to finally have such a nice quiet home!!!!
