My baby attack a st bernard! Well...kind of!

It *is* true. I wouldn't put up w/ that kind of behavior personally, or at least try to fix it, like you did. I don't think it's a laughing matter, either. (BTW, I'm not directing this at the OP-- just saying in general). I'm either really lucky or have provided Jackson stable training and socialization because he's never ever tried to charge another dog (let alone one 10x bigger than him) or growled or barked at them etc. The only time he barks at other dogs are when we visit at my dads house with his 2 crazy maniac dogs (lol) and he follows their lead through the fence! Half of the time he doesn't even know what he's barking at just does it cuz they are! What a follower. But anyways I would immediately start training! Would anyone laugh if a 100lb German Shepherd was charging another dog or a person? Nope... they would probably call Animal Control. I think the SAME rules need to apply to a small dog as a big dog.

A Yorkie has no fear. Buddy attacked a Malamute at 1yr old.
One day the dog was his friend then one morning he decided he
didn't like him anymore and broke the leash getting to him.
It scared me to death. He was attacking his feet and the Malamute
just stood their staring at him. Thank God.
They don't think at all they just go for the prey. Dosen't matter
the size at all. As smart as Yorkies are that's how dumb they are too.
