I just noticed above that you have a request for a certain size yorkie; 4 1/2 pounds. The preferred weight for a girl is 5 pounds, but between 6 and 7 pounds is more the desired weight. Breeding/whelping yorkies comes with it's difficulties, so why buy trouble.

I also noticed, you are studying to be a vet tech. When and if you obtain enough knowledge to begin a breeding program, other than having very deep pockets. You'll have to be prepared to give up 12 weeks of your life, that means completely devote your time, no job, social life. The mother and the puppies will be your only priority.

I suggest you read both of the above threads. Both are in written for the purpose of educating puppy buyers in the importance of supporting the reputable/responsible breeder.

I have read and watch that very sad video. And I have decided not to breed. Not only for the response of my question, but to dedicate more time in my studies and my pets. I'm going to keep studding, get a job, raise money, and if later on I'm well educated and knowledge, I might start breeding. Thanks to all the people here in YT, not only did I get advise but now I know a little bit more of breeding. As for the video of Puppy mill's and BYB, I would really like to help but I don't know how. because one can inform others, but puppy millers and byb will not stop (unfortunate) . But I will tell everybody that I know to watch this video and to not buy puppies in pet stores or online. Thanks again
