prayers sending up prayers that both babies are ok.... grrr I hate when people don't properly handle their dogs. I think your friend should send the dalmatians' owner the vet bill just so he can see how much damage his/her dog did!! |
Oh, this is horrible to read yet again. I'm praying both babies will be fine.:) |
Those poor little babies. I will be praying for them and your family, too. It makes me so sad to hear these stories. |
How Horrible! Prayers & Hugs being sent from here!!:hands: Hoping Baxter & Mimi will be ok! Something similiar happened to my step-daughter's yorkie. It was a nightmare, but thankfully, he survived. |
Awe poor Mimi and Baxter and her mommy. I'm send many many prayers their that make a speedy recovery and that mom is staying strong. I hate irresponsible owners that can't control their big dogs. I walk Kobe with a pocket knife in my pocket, I treat it as if i was out with my skin kids. I'd protect him the same way i would protect them... although some might not agree. |
Sending my prayers and good thoughts for those poor babies. |
Many prayers on the way for Mimi and Baxter. Poor little guys. :( Please keep us updated on their condition. |
Oh how tragic! Grrrrr... Please keep us updated! :animal-pa |
I am just now seeing this. Sending prayer for Baxter and Mimi. I pray their injuries are not life threatening and they will have a speedy recovery. |
AWWW that sucks... my prays are with Baxter and Mimi |
I'm so sorry this happened sending prayers for a speedy recovery for Baxter and Mimi. I too feel that the dog owner of the attacking dog should foot the vet bills. It is only right and fair. |
Just reading this, how horrible, sending prayers and positive thoughts to Mimi and Baxter. Please udate xo |
All- Mary Ellen, Mimi and Baxter's Mom thanks you all for the prayers. Mimi is unfortunately not doing so well, she has very severe puncture wounds in her chest. We are thankful that none were deep enough to puncture her lungs. I went and saw her tonight and was able to hold her, she is very drugged (for pain). The Vet seems to think she will make it and be able to come home. Baxter is home and just very scared, he hid behind their bookcase all day and finally came out this evening. He needs a lot of hugs and pets and hopefully he will be back to normal soon. I did want to mention one thing, Mary Ellen uses Puppia harnesses on both of her dogs and the Vet said that is probably what stopped the wound from hitting Mimi's lungs (they are very padded). Again thank you all, the prayers are so appreciated. Cheryl |
Just reading this, and am so glad the babies will be okay. It's so sad that it happened in the first place. |
