| My puppy is a smart alec! Although I've tried, Olive is still not potty trained (we're working on it and not giving up!). Whenever she goes potty in the house, I pick it up and take it to the toilet to flush it; and, being my ever-faithful shadow, Olive follows me there. Her newest antic is to potty right in front of the toilet. At first I was quite upset about it, but then it clicked - she thinks that's where potty goes! She's a smart puppy after all! I'd like to say move of a smart alec, but smart just the same. Just thought I'd share my funny story |

| Better keep that toilet lid closed, she may try to use it. When I was young and my family had our 1st yorkie she was a teapot so no worries about drowning in the pot. Anyway my mom kept thinking my little brother wasn't flushing after going #2 in the pot. Then she noticed it was only in the toilet when we got home from being out for awhile, still blaming my brother. One day she checked the toilet rite before we walked out the door and nothing there. We came home and there it was poop in the pot where did it come from??? Oh Yes she did, and had been for some time. Funny thing is when we figured it all out, there was no toilet paper in the pot when mom kept finding poo in it. I told her well you should have figured it out long before she did for the simple fact ( No TP ) in there so if it were little brother we would have deff smelled something strange comming from the back seat in the car if he weren't wiping his bum. |

| Oh my goodness. If I could train my dog to use the toilet I would charge so people can see it. The little rascal always wants to go under the dining room table. OlivesMommy, she's trying to please you so you don't have to exercise much. These little ones do the funniest things sometimes. |

| I had a cat that used to poop on the toilet when I was growing up. Most people don't believe it.

| LOL, she always makes me laugh. There's no way she could get on the toilet, she's way too small; but she does put her paws up there and watches it flush, lol. Maybe if she figures out how to javelin jump, she'll make it up there! |

| That is pretty funny. They really can be pretty smart sometimes! It sounds to me like you should be taking her "accidents" outside instead of to the toilet. That's what we did during training - every time with the poo, and sometimes we even brought the pee out on a paper towel if it wasn't too windy (we'd go get it and throw it in the outside trash after taking our pup out). |

| That's funny, Kobe pee's in front of our toilet. DH leaves the door open and after a few times watching him he will now go there if he must go inside. They do things like that and you just have to look at them and say "Very Funny"!!

| That's cute! The book I'm reading about Yorkies says you shouldn't let them see you clean up their accidents. I have no idea why though. |

| Since Shayna was a puppy and of course follows you everywhere, she has to join me in the bathroom, everytime. Though I close the door, she can still boot it open with her nose. After a year, I figure it's the the norm. Well when we go out, she has been known to do her business in there. I know it's because she sees me. I wish she could get up there, she's a teapot too. But that could have consequences also. Now I just put a pad down when we are gone. |
