hehe i dont really have any solution to suggest ...sorry

sometimes Crunchy will play with his too, but he'll just kick it around for a minute or so ...well i guess i can consider myself lucky then. lol

Every now and then I would read about someone having a problem with their little fur baby wanting to play with or eat their poop..

I used to chuckle and think "oh my goodness I am so grateful neither of my boys ever did that"...well, did I speak too soon...

just the other day Milo ( going on 9 mo old) decided to drop his little load and then play with it.. he would push it around with his nose and roll it all over the floor. He didn't look like he was going to put it in his mouth but I didn't let him get that far

He also pooped the other day right in front of the kids (they were engrossed in the TV) and he laid right next to it with his little nose practically in it as if to say "here it is - my gift to you all".

So, sorry, I can't be of any help. Maybe do a search and see if there are any past ideas.
