2 Yorkies = Heaven I posted on here a while back that I may be getting another yorkie girl....well last Friday I met the breeder (thanks Kelly!!!) and I brought Disney home!!! She is the perfect addition!!!! We are sooo happy!!! Disney is such a cuddle bug!! She loves to cuddle up with me at night while I am reading. I can't wait til she is sleeping with me like Sophie does. I am crating her at night until she is house trained. And today is the first day that Disney and Sophie have gotten along and they are playing!!! I had my doubts about the two of them together at first but today seems to have brought a change of heart for my snob, Sophie..LOL. I just couldn't be a happier momma!! I just had to share my happiness! I just LOVE LOVE LOVE seeing the two of them run and play around the house!! *to all you posters out there who said to get 2 thanks!!! it was you (yorkietalkers) who finally convinced me!!!

Congratulations!!! You are very fortunate, that your "kidz" are already getting along...It took my little Diva (Apple) a little longer to accept her brother, Buzz...She's still very bossy, a little bit jealous (he's not), but she gets so upset if he's not right w/her...Sometimes I have to put him in "time out" for excessive barking...It's a small gated area in the kitchen, that he has to stay in for a minute or two 'till he decides he's not going to bark...I, also, highly recommend two!!!

Sounds like things are really working out for you. Not sure why some just love the carpet. Our girl is almost 13, and sometimes feels the need to go on a nice wool rug. She is let out every 2 hours, but once a week will leave a little puddle, and walks away from it with a smile on her face. Very thankful the 125 pound Cane Corso does not do that. Now that I think about it, she only does it when my wife is traveling....Damn, it's my fault!

LOL Dr Steve YOu are a hoot! I think its RETALIATION!...LOL.. I had a 5 yr old dog, who was totally housebroke, but hey you better not leave the house without him!!! Cause without fail, the rug in front of the front door, well I dont care if it was pea sized nugget, he would leave you a present for not taking him everytime. You couldnt get mad at him for it, it was just to funny. | |

One of the seldom-mentioned benefits of having two (or more ) is that they exercise each other, taking some of the pressure off of YOU . All that chasin' has some very good side effects! Congrats on your new addition!

The joys of having more than one! This is so true! Before we got Paris Louis was a bored little puppy and as I write they are exhausting each other by running at mock speed around the yard! My husband says that having 2 (or in our case now 3) is much easier than having one! So glad this story has a happy ending and that Disney has found her forever home! Yaay for you!
