| Which do you prefer male or female? Which do you prefer a male or a female yorkie? Does male temper differ from female? or just the same? |

| I have 2 boys and a girl so I'm experienced with both. I would have to say my boys are much more affectionate and cuddly vs my female. If I were to add another it would be a boy for sure. Hey~I'm in the Chicago area too.

| I prefer male yorkies... I find them more affectionate... I usually find girls to be more independent and boys to be a bit more needy... obviously this is a generalization and it can vary. But I have one of each and think THAT is the perfect solution

| I have to agree with everyone else. Jada my little girl is much more independent. Bogie is just a cuddle bug. I like having one of each they compliment each other so well. Jada does cuddle but on her terms.

| hmm...Let's see... I prefer girls over boys =) but, boys are (in my case): more outgoing, easier to train new tricks, bigger so he's my teddy bear!, eats just about anything!, independent, and very loyal girls are (in my case): very shy, clingy, picky about food, and VERY smart They are BOTH VERY ENERGETIC AND LOVING THOUGH! <3

| Girls, girls, girls.....Love all 4 of them (but have to admit I haven't had a male Yorkie, only a male schnauzer).
