penny's new favorite heart warming thing to do is while shes sitting on my lap when im playing computer she will toss her head all the way back and stare at me until i lean down and kiss her nose

Sophia will try to climb up on me just to hug

She is such a snuggler
Daisy Mae always does the happy dance when she sees me, then rolls to her back for belly rubs

keeping it short

When my girls were at my side 24/7 during the worst time of my life (my husband died right next to me in the middle of the night).....

they were somber, bewildered and loving at the perfect moments - like they knew what I needed ...with all the crying they never left my side ....they gave me a purpose when I was in a very dark place

I'll never cease to be amazed at how intuitive dogs are

Edited to add a happy note

When on walks each will look back at me with huge happy faces while skipping along to make sure I'm right there behind them

to add to my above post (1st part) Waking up to find myself surrounded with favorite toys and 2 little faces intently watching me.....all I'd say is 'can I have a kiss' and was smothered..

We are all so lucky to have these sweet little dogs to love us!!
Boo Boo lets me know how much he loves me a million times a day.
It starts when I wake up to a cold nose and wet little puppy kisses all over my face. If I'm still tired all I have to say is not yet and he curls up next to me for about half an hour, then does it again. He's my little alarm clock with a snooze button.
He follows me around all day and when I bend down to pick him up he pops up on his back paws so it's easier to get a grip, then he lays his head down on my shoulder.
When I have a migraine and need to lay down in a quiet dark room he comes in very quietly and licks my forehead very slowly and gently.
When we are watching tv at night he curls up on my feet and will randomly roll his head back to look at me as if to say...i love you, now pet me
If I leave clothes on the floor he will find them and they will become his new bed for his afternoon nap.
When my grandfather died last summer he stayed curled up with me for as long as I needed him, and when I cried he would lick the tears off my face.
When he's done playing with his favorite toys he brings them to me.
At night when I'm ready for bed he waits for me to get comfy and then curls himself up right next to my face, and stays there for the night, just to start over again the next morning.
So many people talk about how much they love their dogs and how spoiled they are. People often say how lucky these dogs are....but I think we are the lucky ones.
