| yakking cough, PLEASE HELP My dog has this hacking cough all of the sudden. It sounds like she has a hair ball or something. When she does have the cough it sounds like she cant breath, or if she has something stuck that she cant get out. Does any one know what this can be.?? I am so concerned with this, I don't know if I should take her to the vet? Please help...

| It could be a number of things. Kennel cough, allergies, trachea collapse....Id check in w/ your vet if this continues or you see her getting worse. Hope all will turn out ok.

| I would not mess around with a cough with this fatal dog flu going around. I would take her to the vet so you can rule that and kennel cough out.

| My puppy just had that, I went to the vet and she had an inflammed or irratated trachea. (cant remember exactly) but she got antibiotics for 10 days and she is doing great. You need to go get the medicine though so I would definetly take her asap.. |
