| Poor Max Hi, Over the past few days i have noticed that Cleo keeps licking Max's face, and when he moves Cleo attacks him. Has anyone got any thoughts on why she is doing this, as i don't Max to get hurt. Thanks

| It sounds like alpha behavior to me, too. The infection thing would make sense, except for the attacking. That's what makes me believe cleo is showing dominance. I'm not an expert, but what if when you caught this going on, you tried to distract them by throwing a toy, or giving a treat or something...or just making a loud noise of some sort? Just throwing out ideas...I hope you are able to figure it out, that doesn't sound like a fun thing to go through!
