| New Shorkie I found a guy on Cl who's s**tzu had a litter with his yorkie, and I'm getting one! The one I have dibs on is white with a white spot at the crown of her head, and yorkie brown coloring. I am not sure about the breed, and in fact, don't know what types of ailments to look for. BTW, some claim it's a breed. I don't know about that. I have no info at all, really and am treating this adoption as I would any other mixed breed adoption: vet visit, then home for a play with the babies. Toto is atill alive, at this point, and I'm dealing with his knees and then his late night barking sessions. His tail still wags, so how can I PTTS? I hope everyone is doing well. Callie and Toto and the new Yorkie, in about 17 days! When she's going to be 8 weeks old! |

| Good luck with your new puppy and with Toto. I read what you've written about Toto. I really don't know if this is the reason, but it could be his excessive barking at night is from CDS, a doggy Alzheimer's. My yorkie will be 17 soon, and she started barking and pacing a lot in the middle of the night several months ago. She has been on Anipryl since October, and it has helped her a great deal. http://www.cdsindogs.com/PDF/CDSInDogs/ANIPRYL.pdf |
