great job!:thumbup: you did what YOU felt was right and nursed the little girl back to health. Isnt that what is important a safe, loved, healthy dog:). If her original owners claim her so be it. but you have done what I would want someone to do with my babies until then.

What certain people are ticked about is that she let this other woman take the dog. The neighbor did not come on here looking for anything, the neighbor did the same thing that the OP did, find someone that has or had a yorkie and gave her away.

This dog has been lost for awhile now and by law they do not have to look any longer, but they are It is good that they are still looking and even better that the dog is BEING CARED FOR WHILE STILL LOOKING FOR IT"S POSSIBILE HOME!
The people you think are HARPING have the pup's BEST interest at heart just like the OP and want to make sure that she and ALL THE OTHERS out there get a fair chance to find their way home if they are missing.

My heart goes out to the little one that you found and thank goodness that you are there for her. You are already doing the right things by opening up your heart and home to helping her. I would suggest Pedialyte half mixed with water to help increase or retain her electrolytes. I give this mine even on a daily basis and it seems to help him. You may also want to try a little bit of NutriCal too. It sounds like she is eating for you, but you should also be careful of over eating since she apparently hasn't been on a stable diet. Be sure to also keep her warm! Keep us posted on how her vet visit goes on Monday! Will be wishing you both the best. Good luck!

No where does ANYONE mention the words HORRID, or AWFUL PERSON except YOU!

If you are looking for an uptade, fine.

Nancy isn't telling the OP that she did something wrong, and maybe if people hear something over and over again they (or anyone looking) can learn a thing or two from it.

The most effective way to institute long lasting change is EDUCATION! If you are done learning then kudo's to you.

What a wonderful person you are and the lady you gave her to. One has to take a chance once in awhile, I belive you did the right thing. I would want our baby to be well taken care of too. These little dogs can be a hand full and maybe someone just turned the pup out. Hopefully you will never know. Tell the lady to love the pup with all her heart.

YOU got that from my posts? And what did I say that makes you think that I think that? I told her "I truly believe you did what you thought was the right thing." I want to go on record that I do not see mommaofmia as a horrid awful person, in fact, just the opposite. I see her as a very compassionate person who is very sensitive, but she did ask for tips and help.

I know Nancy, and not educate mommaofmia but ALL who read these posts. Our little dogs are often stolen, they are very desireble to own as pets and there is a chance that if one were to go missing that someone would not care to find the owner, NOT THE CASE HERE, but sometimes it is.

Somewhere this thread got way off course, if anyone has a personal issue with Nancy, I or anyone on this thread please take care of your issues Via PM, we can't all agree 100% on everything on here and there are some with very strong CONVICTIONS, myself being one, but we need to not make this personal, it won't solve anything.

Yes, it does seem like it it the same "posters" , over and over, that attack and are hateful.
The worst thing about that is these are very caring people toward the yorkie breed and they have a lot to teach us newer owners.
What a shame that they come on so strong and put people on the defensive, instead of opening up a discussion for learning.
Even if the newer person does something they don't approve of, it could be "taught" instead of blasting and accusing.

Can you give an example of how to say it so people wouldn't think you are blasting the OP?
