Nikki went to visit his Mom 4 Attachment(s) Nikki, the elderly male I took in when his Mom had a stoke 2 months ago, went to see her in the nursing home today. What a beautiful reunion. The staff were all waiting to see Nikki as Carol talks about him all the time. She had the biggest smile on her face the whole time. Nikki was so good. It was an hour and half drive each way and he was so good the whole time. He seemed happy to see Carol and sat in her lap the whole time. It was sad to have to take him away but we will go see her more often now that I found my way out there and sadly, no longer have my Dad to take care of. I took a lot of pictures and will make an album and frame a couple for Carol as she doesn't even have one picture on her side of the room. I couldn't decide which to post so I posted alot.!!! |

Oh Patti God bless you for having such a kind heart, I'm sure they were both very happy to see each other, it's nice to see her smile |

Oh, Patti, thank you for sharing those. I'm sitting here with tears in my eyes, too. I know she misses him terribly, but probably less so since she knows he is well taken care of. He looks so cute cuddled up to her.:) |
My eyes are filled with tears. What a friend you are Connie. Carol is one lucky lady to know her beloved Niki is being so well taken care of while she's sick. Is she there permanately? Love all those pictures especially 3#. Carol must have been so thrilled to see her boy and visit with him. I can't imagine saying good by, I'm sure it was painful. Your just so great to do this for her. I hope she will be coming home soon. |
You are an angel, not only for taking this baby under your wings, but for making this reunion possible. |
Those are probably the best pictures I have seen in a really long time. Thank you so much for sharing. I know that they both had to have been so happy to see each other. |

I loved the photos !! had to come back and add - every single photo is touching....that is real love - you can see it on both their faces. You are the hero Patti - you really are. What a nice thing to do for them and Nikki is just gorgeous - you're really taking good care of that little doll |
Patti. That was wonderful. You have no idea what you've done for that lady and that Yorkie. Really. My mom has been sick for years. I remember, Mr.Mcduff their collie they rescued at eight years old. He would cry for mom every day she was gone. And, when she got to see him how her face lit up. Mr.Mcduff has passed on and mom is still in the nursing home and I now bring my Yorkies to see her. Oh and how the people there look forward to their visit. Some have no family that come so it's a treat when someone else comes even if not for them. Brooklyn, Lilly and Tia have to make the rounds to see each and everyone before they leave. Really Patti, what kind thing you are doing for that woman and Yorkie. Elaine |
Wow - what a nice reunion for both of them. |
Awww, those pics are so touching. |
What a wonderful thing to do.......there should be more people like you in this world. You could tell by the pictures how happy she was to see Nikki. Thanks for making me smile:) Rose and Levi |
