I just don't even know what to say, I feel like crying. |
Patti - you are an AWSOME lady  ...beautiful photos! |
what a kind thing for you to be doing and the lady looks so happy to have her little man with her....i'm amazed at how giving you are Patti. may God shower YOU with Blessings for all the good things you do for others. |
What a wonderful renunion for Nikki and his mom. You can tell how happy they were to be together again. That 3rd picture in post #1 has tears streaming down my face. Stories like this are what makes Yorkie Talk such a wonderful place. Bless you Patti for making this reunion possible. |
Thanks so much! Carol will permanently be at the nursing home so Nikki will be with me forever. I was so happy to see how the pictures turned out as you all mention you can just see the happiness on her face. I just know if I was in Carol's shoes I would want someone to take my babies and to see them when possible. I was worried the visit would be too hard on Nikki and Carol but Nikki was so good and ate when we got home. The last time I took him to see her he wouldn't eat for days and threw up on the short trip home, so I was worried for the long trip, but now we can go regularly to see her. You guys are so sweet and would do the same thing!!! |
How heartwarming, it brought tears to my eyes! |
aww - that's so sweet. it's really nice of you to do that - i couldn't imagine how hard it would be to have to go to a nursing home AND leave your dog. having someone to take good care of nikki AND bring him in for visits makes it easier, i'm sure. |

Oh, I was hoping her visit there was temperory. Boy that must have been so hard for her. I worry about things like this all the time. Carol is so very lucky to have you Connie. It's truly a blessing. Sounds like Nikki is settling in and knows his new home is now his. You must be so relieved now that the second visit went so well for him. Your truly wonderful for not only taking this adorable little one it but to take him for visits to his past Momma. Carol is certainly blessed in that respect. |
My deepest sympathies to you on the passing of your Dad. So glad that you were able to spend time with him and help him with the day to day on his final journey... OMG! You've done such a good thing! Nikki looks absolutely beautiful, all shiny and handsome. (what did you bathe him with???) And Carol looks like she's doing well. Seeing them kissing on each other is so sweet, just melted my heart!:D Pets can really help in the healing process, physical and mental. |
