Communicating With Your Dog

This may sound weird..but if you are close to your dogs or any other pet..Have you been able to communicate with your pet's telepathically?
I have!! I always was able to do this and did not find it surprising to see this on horse whisperer..or Dog Whisperer. I was always aware of my dog's feelings or when he wanted something..Can't explain it without it sounding bizarre..but for those who know what I am talking about..it is a true gift!! It's sounds out there but what the heck..I have read some pretty funky things on Y.T..why not this? lol!

Every night after dinner - Bailey telepathically tells me to get her a bully stick by staring into my eyes! Ha! its just her way of begging and it works.

So far I've never seen any signs that I have that talent with any pets that we've ever had. I wish I did though. I don't know that my brain ever slows down enough to tune in that much. : ) I do believe it's possible for some people though.

I believe Buddy and I share that as well. It's easy to know what he want's
at all times because he can relay that to me in his own doggy way.
As an example, if he has something he is not suppose to have he actually
rat's himself out. I can be doing my hair in the bathroom and he comes
and growls softly to me to get my attention then runs down the hall.
This means, of course, follow me. Sure enough there he is under the chair
having torn apart a tissue or other piece of paper. Never fails, he always
tattles on himself. I am intuned to his every need or want. I know him
inside out.

It is one of those things you want to ask other people with pets but don't want them to think you are a crazy..lol! You are right though..You have to really stop and pay attention to their body language and eye expressions..

How old is buddy? This is so right on!! I would know what my Harvee wanted and it was always something different but I knew what it was. He would sit and stare at me and I would say.. "Honey can you fill up Harvee's water bowl..it is empty", and My husband would say ."How do you know?" I just knew..and sure enough my husband would walk over and Harvee would follow him to the empty bowl and wag his tail and my husband would fill it up and say.." You are Creepy" lol! but It was so natural to me..I never thought of it as anything more than just knowing my dog. I used to this at the Vet's I worked for too! I was never afraid of the aggressive dogs..I just picked them up and weighed them and they would become submissive to me. They sensed I was not scared and they were able to let their guard down.

Well for me I think it is the other way around. I can get up and down from my chair, go do a wash, go outside to hang up laundry, or just hang around, but when I get up to walk the pooches, and this is not at the same time every day, Magic and now Razzle just go crazy run to the front door ahead of me, waiting impatiently for me to leash them up.

When I get up in the night to cause I can't sleep so go into the tv room, Magic always follows me in - but if I getup to go to the washroom he just stays in our bedroom.. How does he know?

I guess my energy changes somehow, but how, and how do they sense it?

They amaze me all the time!

I think I'm pretty good at reading her body language/behavior, but to do what I think you are talking about, ckuz13, is different. Sure wish I had that talent though.

Well, I did some reading up on this a long time ago..and it is innate. It is the same thing as a school of fish swimming all together and yet moving as one. Flocks of birds do this as well..How do they fly in sync and know exactly when to turn and yet not crash into eachother. They did a study on how dog's know what their family members were feeling and thinking. They set up camera's to show that a dog knew when their owner's were returning home from being out. The dog would go sit by the door 15 minutes before the owner arrived..everytime, they also changed the times to prove it was not just a matter of knowing the schedule or routine. It was pretty amazing.

It can be a good thing..but can also be very stressful. I am very, very sensitive when it comes to animals..I would probably say more than an average person would normally be. And this makes it very difficult to do things like travel or spend holiday's at other people's houses..I don't like leaving my pet's at home..it is like leaving one of my kids home..ughh! One of my son's has this too! I knew it from the time he was three..he has a special bond with all living things..even trees and plants!!

It is!! I used to hate to cry around my dog..because it would make him so upset in a concerned way..He would jump on my lap and start licking my face and wagging his tail..as if to say.." it is going to be alright" I'm here for you"
