| Changing as they grow up... I just wanted to discuss the types of changes we experience as our pup's age into young adults, then adults, then seniors. Sadie is nearing her 10th month and i have noticed some things in the way that she plays that are different than at first. The baby pup she once was is almost gone now. She doesn't nap for as long and she loves to run and play more during the day. She's started to play on her back a lot more than she used to which cracks me up so much. She'll play with a bully stick while laying on her back and just make these funny noises and hold it with her front paws and roll around with it. I'm also noticing that when she's lying down now she likes to go clear out in the middle of the living room and sprawl her whole self out on the carpet. It's not the snuggled in a ball Sadie i'm used to. She loves playing outside more than ever. She bell abuses like crazy to go out and run and chase birds from the yard. Most of the time i just let her because she's so happy. I just am enjoying watching this baby pup grow into a little child and eventually a teenager. She excites me with each new thing she does and each little change in her play and personality. If you have any memories of your yorkie as they changed in their playing personality, please share it here: |
