I would never recommend anyone purchase from an online breeder, no reputable breeder would sell dogs through a website. A reputable breeder wants to make sure that her dogs are going to a good home, and that the puppy buyers are aware of all the problems of that particular breed. A reputable breeder wants to ensure that the puppy and new owner are a good match.

I haven't visited the site. But, I'm a firm believer of not obtaining your puppy from the classifieds or internet.....I believe you buy your breeder first, then your puppy. If you don't feel comfortable with your breeder, walk away.

also, not sure if anyone else mentioned this, but the site mentions that kiss e was born 2/11/10, which means she is only 8 weeks old as of today. are they saying they are going to ship her now or at 12 weeks? from everything i've learned here at YT, they should stay with their mothers and litter mates until a minimum of 12 weeks (and though it is usually not illegal to ship them at 8 weeks, it is not recommended by the AKC and breeders that do so are generally considered disreputable by those who know better).

when i looked down at another litter mate "astro", it says that he will be shipped 4/8/10, which is LESS than 8 weeks!!! not good....

Glad you are noticing these things, just because some thing is legal, doesn't make it right!

Then this site (YT) is working just as it should.

I also found it odd that no parents were shown. I did post on your other thread that her kennels made me uneasy, and on further inspection they have a "yorkie house" which looks like a separate house, or an add on for the pups. What happened to being raised in the home?

At first I thought that they just decorated an outside play area for them. I thought it was cute until I realized there was a door. So my thought of them calling their entire home the "Yorkie house" in reality it was just that add on. At least that's the story the pic says.

I will bet my life on it that they are brokers. No parents are anywhere on the site, all the interest is focused on the puppies, kennel area in a storage building, it just screams BROKER to me. They have individual crates for each puppy-shouldn't they all still be with their momma "Lady Sadie" at 8 weeks old? I would also like to know where Lady Sadie it and why she is not shown in any of the pictures? My guess, she is still at the MILL their puppies came from Not only that but I would also bet that if we kept tabs on this website we would see a trend that would become very evident and disturbing.

Great points, these pictues are set up to appeal to people and I very much doubt if you buy the puppy pictured. I'll bet if you look at the website in a year, the same puppy pictures will be there. I noticed this picture on the site, I could have sworn someone here posted this picture before. Ethical breeders never post a picture of anyone else's dog without giving credit. I agree, these are puppy brokers.

I remember that pic too. But, If I remember correctly, that member said that she found that pic online when asked about it. So, it could be the breeder's dog.

star28c, i would have your friend call the breeder (if that's what she really is) and tell her that she was making arrangements to come and pick up the puppy and also that she wanted to see the parents at that time. they will probably be nice, but she may still be met with some resistance (and since it is just a test, you want to know what she'll say)....

but with or without a phone call, there are too many MAJOR red flags on why these people do not seem like reputable breeders ... i wouldn't buy a puppy from there, no matter how cute ... your friend could very well be paying a lower price for a puppy on the front end, but buying into a lifetime of extremely expensive health care for it....

i spoke with my friend she said even if its from Reputable Breeder
and she the parents how do you really for sure know the puppy wont be ill i couldnt answer this question because i just dont know
