| Trixie has found her bark!! Okay...so Trixie has figured out that the back door leads to the yard which she now thinks is her personal playground (well, it is - isn't it). Today she figured out that barking at the door is a way to get it to open! She was just so excited, I had to open the door and go outside with her. What a little stinker. Another new Trixie milestone.....on Wednesday, she figured out how to go up the back steps from the yard and to come back down.....well, this morning when my son let her out of the xpen....she figured that she would try the stairs to where mommy was....up she came!! She had such a good time exploring the 2nd floor of our house, you would think it was the first time she was up there! I think she was just so proud of herself that she did it on her own without having to be carried. I still am a little nervous so my son oo I follow her up in case she falls and she hasn't attempted to come down the stairs on her own yet. Big milestones today!!!

| Age of Trixie I was wondering how old Trixie is as we just got our first yorkie puppy, ( we have other dogs) and she does bark when she has to potty so I am trying to take her out each time she barks so she understands that is how you get outside. But all of our doors have stairs to get out. (I did not realize that until we just got her) and I wondered what age so I would know if it was okay to let her try it. |

| Awww! Way to go Trixie! Don't you just love when they experience things for the first time?! Twinkie has definitely found her bark and she uses it a little more than I would like! I keep telling myself...patience and training Kim, patience and training! |

| My pup (Tilly) has just found her bark today. She's 10 weeks old on Tuesday and was having great fun tearing around the lounge barking earlier. She also can manage to get up one of the steps to our back door but not the other, so she runs up and down on that step barking and flopping on her belly, lol. I love pups...just wish their teeth weren't so sharp.

| Awee Congrats for Trixie...good thing she learned up AND down at the same time. Pasquale learned up first..and then would whine for me to come get him up the stairs. I was SO happy when he learned down too!

Trixie will be 4 months on the 19th of April. She just started the going up and down the stairs thing about a week or so ago. She still won't go down our stairs inside the house...only outside but it is only 3 steps. I did show her how to walk down the three steps the first time I saw her go up them. She learned quickly. Good luck.

| Aren't they just the sweetest little things! I love it too when they learn new things or are trying to figure something out. Trixie doesn't bark too much, but she does love to nip....sharp teeth for sure!!
