She finally pooped and it was so hard it was stuck to her bum. I guess I will give her some pumpkin to help that.
She didn't eat as much today, but she finally drank a ton when I added a tich of organic chicken broth to her water and warmed it up.
I had to finally use the soft E cone by Bo bc she would not stop licking. I have to say that if any of your babies are getting spayed in the future I would highly recommend a soft E cone by bo it has saved us from a headache!! I don't feel as guilty putting that on like I would if I had to use one of those ones from pet smart. At least the soft e cone is comfy and you can roll it down when they are not licking and if they start licking roll it back up. |
Ahhh Pixie looks so cute in her soft E collar. She looks a lot better and I'm sure by later today you'll have a hard time keeping her still. My guys had bad breath too and even the other dogs would come and smell their mouths and run away. Most of mine needed stitches and I think they just bleed more and that is what gives them the bad breath. It took a couple of days and by the time they went for their recheck it was gone.
