| ![]() Bella is 14 weeks and apparently fearless. I have to watch her because it appears that she will get excited and jump off most anything even if it is way to high for her to jump from. She also climbs things she shouldn't climb and therefore gets on top of things she shouldn't jump from. So far I have found her to be like a child with hyper active disorder. Loads of fun...but you have to watch her. One thing I forgot to mention is that when she jumps off my chair she kind of jumps and and falls with all fours. Like she just stepped off a building.

| ![]() Yes, our Sophie is 4.8 lbs and is a jumper. I bought stairs for our king bed because it sits up so high. Sophie uses them to go up but doesn't like to go down them. Our home has hardwood through most of it but in our bedroom we have thick carpeting so her landing is a little softer but I still am worried about the wear on her joints. I have been using treats to coach her to use them going down. If that doesn't work we may have to enlarge our bedroom by knocking out a wall to the next room to accommodate a ramp. What won't we do for them ![]()

When I first got Elliott (he was four months old), I was carrying him through the house and he jumped out of my arms. I'm 6'2", so he dropped pretty far. I was so afraid that he had broken a leg or something, but after a minute or two of limping, he was back to ripping around the house. He will very rarely jump off of the couch, but that's about it. I don't know if his early fall scared him straight or not, but he's a lot more willing to jump onto things than to jump off of things. | |

| ![]() Can't believe it, but Mia is 5 months old today! She spent a wonderful day and had two nice walks down by the beach. Now she is sprawled out in my bed relaxing for about 5 mins. lol |

| ![]() my boys are 4 and 5.5 lbs, and they jump off stuff too...I know it's horrible, but they jump off our bed, the couch, recliners...I hope they never get hurt, but they do it just out of excitement, and before I can get to them to put them on the floor...little stinkers.

Senior Yorkie Talker | ![]() Taylor STILL does this - I call her "bat dog" because she thinks she's a super hero! lol! I used to panic about broken bones but I couldnt stop her. She still LAUNCHES herself off the couches, bed and anything she can get up on! And she climbs too. If we sit and watch TV she appears out of nowhere behind your head and then launches her next attack on her unsuspecting victims! I worry about their bones being small and fragile so I try not to excite her too much when she gets into one of these moods.

| ![]() Hi all. Last night I went to my boyfriends house and his roommate has a small dog that he got steps for but she is scared of them. So he gave them to me!!!!! We worked on them last night and no any luck. She isn't scared of them but doesn't know what to do with them either. I put Maggie on them this morning when we first woke up and she went down them from my bed!!! She just won't use them to get up. |
