| Toenail Clippers Hi! I am about to get a beautiful Yorkie in a few weeks. I am trying to make sure that I have everything I will need for her. The hardest thing I'm trying to decide on is buying toenail clippers. I want to be able to do this at home, but I have no clue what type or brand or even size I need to buy. My puppy is expected to wiegh around 5 lbs as an adult. Will she need different sized clippers when she gets older or can I use the same ones? Can anyone suggest some really good toenail clippers? |

| Hello and Welcome to YT! To answer your question, I use the same clippers that I use for my scottie/cairn terrier. They are regular dog clippers. I'm pretty sure I bought them at Target and they aren't very expensive. My little Twinkie does just fine. Good Luck! |

| clippers I own a dog grooming salon and have 8 yorkies myself and I have bought all the expensive one and all different kind and sizes and to be honest the wal=mart,Target and all those work the same...now I do have mine shappened every 8 weeks...but i cut alot of doggie nails. I have even bought some from the dollar store and they were just as good. Good luck with your new puppy!!!!!!!!!

| I agree. I have purchased many nail clippers over the years. I then found these little cat clippers at Target. I LOVE THEM. I use them on both the puppies and the adults and they work great.
