If my cats are fed and don't finish everything in their bowls, do I need to worry about Bamboo trying to eat their food? My husband and I are teachers, so over the summer we'll be around all day to monitor such things, but come fall we'll be headed back to school and won't be around all the time.

We have 4 cats and I feed them in a different room. Twinkie would eat every last bit if we let her. I placed a small gate in the doorway so she can't get to them. I will attach a link to a picture of our gate. My husband is the one who thought of it. He is so creative! Good Luck!

I forgot to tell you how we made it! We bought 2 spring rods and a valance. Just place a rod in the top and the other in the bottom. Since they are spring rods, you can adjust them to whatever width you need. They work great!
I also have one in the doorway leading to the litter boxes.
If not, she would be eating cat poo all day!
