| who would of thought!!!! If someone had told me two years ago that I would be regularly wiping a dog's butt....I've would of told them they were crazy. Sure enough I am cleaning a dog's butt almost everyday because she gets those darn dinkleberries. The funny part is after we come in from our walks....she knows she is going to get her butt wiped. We go in to the bathroom and she assumes the position. She just stands their patiently while I cleaned her little butt and paws. Oh.... don't let her have the runs . ewwwwww. I don't have any kids so I've never had the pleasure (not) of wiping some else's butt . It only happens when her hair is growing. Jeez.... i need to invest in a good razor. It has to be done because she sleeps with me and is allowed on the sofas. This must be love |

| My 3 never have dingleberries, their poop is very firm and it does not get stick to their hinneys. They don't get the "runs" unless they are sick but I can't tell you when the last time that happened. I take them to the groomer about every 6 weeks and 8 would be stretching it. When they go they have their back ends clipped really short what I like to call a sanitary shave. I don't even think it is a good idea to wipe a dog butt all the time like that. Please don't take this the wrong way but I think you are missing something since this is not normal~well at least in my house it isn't

| I never have a problem either. I also give mine what is referred to by groomers as a hygiene cut |

YT Addict | I give Derby the bit shave every time I do his dinky. lol We never wipe his butt unless it's actually sat in his own poop somehow? He may get the odd little piece of poop there, but i can litterally take it off with my fingers and he's clean.

| LOL!! Damn those dingleberries, lol. We try to keep Bella and Rocco's butt-butts shaved, but today while on a walk around our apartment complex Rocco decided to take a crap right in the parking lot. He had just went a couple hrs ago, and usually has a very on-the-clock schedule: once in the morning between 9-10, and again in the evenings between 6-9. This was around 12 noon. So we didn't have a poopy bag (i know, shame on us) but even worse, he was "stuck." So, i had to run 2 blocks to our place to get a poopy bag and some wipes. Normally i dont have a problem wiping my babies' butts. But when you're in a parking lot with potential onlookers from windows it's pretty embarrassing. My husband and i had to laugh, but what really got me was a passerby in a truck drove by, just staring at us in morbid curiosity. Honestly it seems that no matter how much we shave Rocco under the tail it seems he gets a hold of long, stringy lint ( i know, super gross ) and so that seems to make it harder for him to, uh, "pinch it off."
