Where do you take your yorkie?

I wish I was brave enough to take Zoe places...at 6 pounds she kinda big to hide in my purse...i do take her to Petco or petsmart....and to grandmas or other relatives and friends...she loves to go bye-bye..Now Lizzy on the other hand will be small enough to go into places but i just can't do that to Zoe....

Bella goes to a lot of places with me. We go to the park, malls, dept. stores, target, banks, etc. I took her to Costco before and it was totally fine but then I went to a differnt location Costco and they said no. I've never tried taking to a market though, I fear being kicked out!

Wow! I'm surprised. I've asked Target and gotten a resounding NO! In fact I've heard someone on here tell a Target horror story involving their dog.

I just retired last June, so I try to take them everywhere with me. But, with two, it's too hard to sneak them into places. I used to sneak Chewy in everywhere, just putting her in my purse, but now with two, I can't do that. But they love to ride in the car, so if my husband is going with me, and he usually does, I take them and we take turns going into the stores. But we always take them to a park or something, at least. We live 45 miles from the nearest small town, and 70 miles to a city. So I hate to leave them home for so long, now that I'm retired. They save me money, tho, because now I have cut way down on my shopping.....lol....

We do take them to the beach quite a bit. They love it. And, I take care of an older gentleman in his home (24 hr care) and I bring Chewy with me. Sierra stays home with her Daddy. It works out good that way, they get more attention, one on one. I'm so glad this man lets me bring my Chewy. He enjoys her and she is nice to him, too, of course.

K, I had an embarrassing moment with her yesterday. I took her to the grocery store (hidden in my purse). In the produce area a bell rang to warn customers that the automatic spray is going to go on the vegetables. Shelby heard it, thought it was the doorbell, and started BARKING in my purse! It was hysterical.

No one heard her?? but I was laughing and talking to my purse so I am sure a few people thought I was nuts.
