I know that. I was sickened when this itty bitty thing was born. Something I had always feared. Her parents are both standard sized and she is the "runt" for sure. I could not in good conscious place her knowing she could pass away at any time (from the day she was whelped) I just never figured I would have to make this decision. Knowing this could very well kill her but also knowing if I do not act that will too. I have blamed myself for this many times over and am giving this little girl the best I can. She is never without someone, if I have appointments she stays with my partner or one of my children (21,19,18,18), or a neighbor who is a vet. tech or I do not go. She is with me all day and even as I type she is sitting here with me. She sleeps right with me at night.
I wish my own mother had given the care to me that I give to each of my dogs...but different subject all together.

I will update everyone on the sick/injured post of mine tomorrow..good or bad.

we just had Peanut done Friday and you would never know it the way he is jumping around.

Congrats to both furbabies and their Mommies that the surgery is over and both had a happy ending.
My 9 month old Izzy has a lot of extra baby teeth that have to come out.
I am making the appt. for her surgery tomorrow. Starting to stress about it already.

Yeah I thought cago had lots of retained baby teeth but they said they had to take out 3

How much does he weigh?? My Vet had my female on fluids and did blood work during the procedure because she was so small. I think if they do that there won't be a problem. It sounds like you picked a better Vet. You did nothing wrong the last time...the Vet should have known what to do. I'm so sorry for your loss. Congrats on your new addition. I'm sure it will all go smoothly.
