| What a sweet little fella! You sound like you truly care about the well-being of this baby ... if I were you, since you have the opportunity to see that he does get a "proper" home, and even if you can't keep him yourself, I would get him. I really don't know if he is too small to play with your Max but you can find him a wonderful forever home and see that he never ends up with someone who would just use him! Good luck and please update us. God bless you for caring!

| Oh, he sure is a cutie! 2 pounds is awfully small, though. Injuries are bound to happen in dogs that small. Sickness often happens too, you are going to have to constantly be worried about low blood sugar in a baby that small. If that's something you can emotionally and financially deal with, go for it! I always worry about yorkies that small being sold to the wrong people. SO many people want that tiny pet who will never grow more than 3 pounds, but yet they don't realize the risks and health issues that come along with it. Is Maxwell typically gentle with other dogs? 6 pounds isn't a huge difference, but you would definitely have to watch them closely, especially at first. If you can't watch them, they'll need to be kept separate during that time, until you know for sure how Maxwell is with him. I am getting a 3 pound 12 week old on Friday, and my first purchase was an xpen for that reason - Oliver is 14 pounds, so there's a huge weight difference. It's never too late to neuter. My Oliver wasn't neutered until he was 1.5 ish, when he was rescued from the puppymill. Marking can be an issue though if they weren't neutered before becoming sexually mature. Oliver is ok at home (now) but I can't take him anywhere else, he marks like crazy. Hopefully that helps in your decision! As long as you're ready to deal with the "what if's" it sounds like you would give this sweet little boy a really good home, which at that size he so desperately needs.

Donating YT 500 Club Member | I would suggest you go ahead and take this boy, for fear he would fall into the wrong hands.....greeders! If it is not working out to keep him you could then either rehome him yourself or surrender him to a rescue. My Ruby is barely 3 lbs. I've got little dogs here, from her size to 8 lbs. They do all play together and Ruby does try to get involved, but I have to be careful with the gang (not to get too wild) when she is playing with them. Definitely get him neutered, no it's not too late. He may still mark but possibly not, our little poodle will still mark outside but never inside. Be certain to have pre-op bloodwork done before neutering. Good luck.....he is adorable!!!

| I'm could take him, but I'm so far away I'm looking for a playmate for my baby, she is will be 3 month on April 12 and weight 1lb. But I live in Puerto Rico. I would neuter him first because I don't want to take any chance. How much they're asking for him? |

| He is darling! I have a tiny 3 lb. one with 9 lb. Pommies. Just supervise. When I leave I separate the Pommies and Yorkies with a gate. You might be surprised how feisty this little one will be. Cocoa puts all the larger dogs in our family in their place and they all respect her. It is extra work with a little one, but it's worth it. I have to carry her more than I do the others. Also have ramps off of the beds and couches. (Foam ones off the couches and wooden ones off the bed.) Good luck. ~Joanne~

| I agree with others. I say get him and try to make it work. If not, then you can get him neutered and placed in home where he will be loved. P.S. Mine are 5.5 years and still play ALL day. Trust me 2 years is still very fiesty |

| He is so cute! I think someone who doesn't have any other pets or someone who has a tiny dog as well would be good for this lil guy. I would be so afraid of him getting injury's. I am praying the right person adopts this lil guy. He is a sweetheart!!

Im teaching the 6lber to be gentle with my little girl but I do worry. As for neutering, its never too late . Olly has just been done at 11 months . Good luck. x

| He's so darn cute! How could you resist that lil face? I do think you should get him and see if it works. Like the others stated, at least you could be sure he wouldn't go to a bad home.
