Cookie already HAS an entire thread that is THOUSANDS of posts long. There is no need for the search for Cookie to be brought into other threads. It is not necessary. A simple PM to Gen would have been enough but instead this has turned into a circus!

To tell me that I have an inappropriate response is just beyond fathomable when I am a volunteer and foster mom with YHR! When Cookie went missing I personally sent emails to several rescues and even forwarded into in rescue email notification to keep a look out. But to act like I don't care is ridiculous!

Guys, everyone here had only the best of intentions. We're all on the same side here. Let's put aside any hurt feelings and move on. It sounds like this dog is going to be getting better care, so it's in the Win column!

I agree! :thumbup: I also think that apologies need to be made to the OPer-all she was trying to do was be a contributing member of the YT community. :)

I totally agree. I read this from the beginning and I don't think the OP was EVER rude. I would say shocked bc of the replies she got, but not rude.

What you did was a good thing, and your email to the lady selling the dog was very well worded. Hopefully he will be in a better home soon.

OP, you certainly did more than you had to. Sounds like your email got others thinking and responding to this owner so it did make a difference. Feel good about what you did.:thumbup:

I agree! Not all of us have lost our minds. What the OP did was not wrong! She was only showing concern for the yorkie. I too agree Gen should have been informed (but in a PM as there is already a thread dedicated to Cookie.)

Well ya know, sometimes people can only take so much and then they can't take anymore. :rolleyes: I'm not saying that two wrongs make a right, but what's the saying? "Time about deserves fair play." The OP had more than her fair share of "rude" and "hurtful" comments thrown at her. :thumbdown (Still scratching my head over how anything she said, regardless to if it was or wasn't called for could be interpreted as "racist," but boy there's an attention grabbing accusation if I ever heard one.)

I hope that the OP got the answers she needed before all the madness started...because heaven help anyone who actually remembers what her original question was at this point.
