Same thing happened to me...when we adopted Byron we didn;t really like the name...being and chihuahua and all i wanted to call him something like Taco or Nachos...ghehehehe But Byron ended up staying, i think it actually helps them in some weird way adapting to the new surroundings!!

Nataliw...i know i didn't "vote" for the name i would have chosen it Fred, i love this name, i have a friend that named her yorkie that, i think it;s really cute...

My baby is named Hercules. Whenever we tell people his name, they just laugh. It's great!! Even better is that he totally acts like a tough guy!

I love the name Fred!!! Its so cute!!! I think it will fit him perefectly!!! I love the way they seem to adapt to their names!! Ya know what I mean. After you call them "FRED" they'll start to look like a "FRED" and not a Tyson!!! Hopefully you know what I mean!! I am a bit on the tired side today!! Not feeling well and Luigi won't let me sleep!!!

I know that's why I like it. I'm not sure if you have ever seen the show, but I was a big Buffy the Vampire Slayer fan. So, one of the names I was thinking of naming my baby was Buffy, but in my head I would think Buffy the Cat Slayer. Those who have cats don't take the wrong way, I have cats too. I just think it funny.
