that's great! Sorry about the whole breeding thing, it just scares me at this point, and to think that there are SO many "oops" litters... I think I was pretty out of my mind when I decided I wanted to breed...good thing I never did it! A lot of vets won't spay until a certain age, but check with the humane society - they do TONS of puppies and kittens, so they know how to do the little guys. If you already know of a different vet, though, that's awesome too!

| ![]() Hope you can get into a vet as soon as you can...good luck! let us know how your doing..... Thats the one thing that scares me to death too, I am hoping Shay can be nuetered next month, if he can gain a lil more weight... Bella will be 4 months on the 8th of April...and I DO NOT WANT A WHOOPS! I will leave that to the professionals...thank you very much! lol So, while on the subject, vet said don't worry it will be a while before Bella goes into heat...BUT when could that be? I will be getting her into vets too after Shay, for her spaying...

| ![]() you never know... dogs can go into heat as early as 5 months, although that is pretty rare... small dogs tend to go into heat later but you can never be sure... I chose to wait until my Chloe was a little older, Armani was already snipped so I had no worries there... but anyway she got spayed at 10 months old and had not gone into heat at all before that.
