| Why is he SO picky?!?!? My Joey seriously takes like 10 to 15 minutes in the mornings to decide where he wants to poop...why is this? He will go out and pee until he's empty, but then he wanders for another 10 minutes or so until he poops. We live in a townhome at the moment (we just bought a house and are moving in 3 weeks = fenced yard!), so I have to take them out and stand right by them for them to potty, and it gets SO old! Is there anything I can do besides running him to make him go faster? What about the being picky part? What's with all that? If it makes any difference, he's got severe separation anxiety... Tank typically just takes a couple minutes to do his business, then he will wander around smelling stuff. It's just Joey that putts around forever

| Pepper used to do the same. More so when he was younger (he is 10 months now). As if he was trying to find a hiding place for the family jewels...Someone told me, it is because in the wild, pups want to find a place for their waste that best protects them from being found by predators. |

| Joey is just a good planner, a thinker. He's thinking ahead and wants to make sure he gets exactly the right spot. He doesn't want to make a mistake on such important business! Plus, in his mind it gives him a little more time outside with you.
