Yoda turned two in April. He's a ball of joy and always wants attention (as any Yorkie owner knows this feeling). We put him in outfits quite a bit, but he doesn't always like it. (see below link) http://www.wooba.com/yoda/yoda-easterbunny.jpg

We spent the winter in our little camper in Florida with our beloved Pogo (half Dachshund/half Poodle, which makes him a Doodle). Pogo is 12 now and came to Maine with me in 1998 when we both fell in love with Don. Don is a cat person. Had a long-haired Dachshund stray for about 7 years, but has never had another dog or a puppy. I love cats, but I'm a dog person. Don didn't want any more animals of any kind. But I wanted a puppy for Pogo to train before he gets too old. I wanted a Pug or a Boston Terrier. BUT, we met Bettye and Patrick at a camper rally in Florida and they had Toto. We both just loved her. And then there was a darling little Yorkie named Chanel who camped all winter right near us. And we both fell in love with her. I still wanted the Pug. Don didn't want anything. But....it was my birthday and our anniversary, so he said, "Okay, but if we get another dog, it HAS to be a Yorkie." Well. I explained about terriers and hyperactivity and stubborness and....it did no good. They say dogs are like there owners, and I realized that Don is a terrier! Of course this was supposed to be MY dog..... The search began in earnest and we went to look at several Yorkies. None seemed just right. Then I saw a new ad in the online edition of the Brooksville newspaper and called right away. Went that afternoon to see the little female they had advertised. The little girl wasn't interested in us. But the little boy sure was! Came bounding right over and climbed into our arms and our hearts. Higgins. He was 7 1/2 weeks old and weighed 24 ounces. He was "all boy" right from the gitgo and Don fell head over heels for his new "son." It was, and still is, as much fun watching Don as it is watching Higgins. He is a FOOL for that dog. And will then look right at you and tell you he "doesn't like dogs." HA! Higgins is now almost 6 months old and 5 pounds. Going to top out around 8 pounds, the vet thinks. He is the absolute love of our lives! Pogo has come around to liking him, too, and is VERY protective of our little guy. We think he's the greatest thing to happen to us since we met on Match.com!

Yes, he cowered the whole time he had it on. We thought it was cute, he thought it made him look too much like a 'pansy' and a girl. He likes some of his other costumes though!

Jesus Christ, you have so many dvds, I thought I was looking at Mike's place for a second. Yoda's hair is so long and shiny in that photo! Poor thing...but that' s okay. Otis looks like a pansy even without the outfit.

Actually only the left shelf is DVDs, the middle and right is CDs and CDRs and assorted other stuff from like 4-5 years ago. :P My DVDs have their own two racks and those DVD Wallet book thingies...
