| ![]() Same with my pooky. He usually goes on the pad inside but now since he seen a puppy outside (our neighbor's dog) marking, he has been lifting his leg to pee. Even in the house. He is not neutered yet. I will get it done soon. Will this stop this? sigh..... |

| ![]() all dogs are different, both of mine were neutered by 6 months, both lift their legs to pee but one for sure marks. I have only seen him do it once in the house but LOVES to mark outside when we walk. He also marks when we go to petco or petsmart, and he will mark anywhere my other dog pees.

YT 3000 Club Member | ![]() chester was fixed at 6 months and I think he lifts his leg inside to go on his pads, Im never there, but outside he pees everywhere, especially on a longer walk. He has never peed on walls , furniture or any of that stuff. He will pee inside off his pads if he is pssed off for some reason. |

Senior Yorkie Talker | ![]() I don;t have the answer and wish someone would tell us what it is all about. Mine were housebroken. Our house received extensive fire damage and we were in a hotel for 7 months were the males (mature) (2) now mark in the house.. I have to keep them penned in the kitchen. I just hate it because someone told me it has nothing to do with housebreaking. I have not a clue on how to deal with it. I use vinegar to clean as I was told that keeps odor out so they will stop marking. A couple of days go by and they start it up again....I JUST CANNOT FIGURE WHAT TRIGGERS IT AND CAN NEVER SEE THEM DO IT. How can a dog be smart enough to know they are not supposed to do it and then hide to do it.???? Unbelievable!!!! Any help would sure be appreciated. Thanks, Jessie |
