| ![]() I've been trying to come up with a good way to word this, but I'm stumped. It has to do with asking about their guarantee, or what happens if the puppy is sick or what if the vet says something's wrong.

| ![]() Ask for a purebred Morkie, or Yorkiepoo. Ask how old they have to be to breed.

I would say I saw your sign, and I've been thinking about getting a puppy. I just want a small dog, my hubby and I are not too active and don't want to have a big dog that needs lot of exercise. My aunt has a Yorky that she loves so I was wondering about Yorky for us? Do you have any Yorky's?... How much does a purebred Yorky cost. My aunt got a purebred one and it cost her $xxxx... I like yorky's I think, but my aunt's is kindof yappy. Gosh I don't know maybe I should get a mix. Do you have something like a Yorky mix? I m thinking about a male because my aunt's yorky is a female, and it would be sweet to have some puppies of our own. Can I come out and see the puppies and their moms and dads? do they have all their shots? How about their health? Are they well? What shots do they need before they come home?

Yes that is too many but I'd would surely ask about either the ACA or CKC..because both of these are signs of puppymills and BYB's and they would think you are clueless when it comes to buying a puppy by thinking these are good registries. The CKC in America is not the same as the one in Canada. The shots are the only health question I would ask about. I wouldn't want them to become too suspicious.

What I guess I'm saying is that there are people out there that are very educated on how to go about getting a puppy.....But, I guess those wouldn't be going to those kind of people to obtain a puppy.

I agree. They were serious about where they got their puppy from. That is great and I wish their were more people like them.

love the question about getting a female b/c you could have puppies of your own i wouldn't ask anything about shots, maybe only ask when can you bring it home, tell them you want to get it as soon as possible (non dog owners have no idea it's important to stay with the mother for a certain period of time) also i would ask to see the puppies, but not necessarily ask about their moms and dads until you got there (that's not something people who've never owned dogs think of) i also wouldn't ask anything about their health, the assumption of someone who's never owned a dog is that the dog being sold is healthy, unless some indication is given it's not i would also say i had been in another town and i almost bought the cutest TEACUP puppy like it from a puppy store, but my S.O. wouldn't let me and i've had to talk him into it, so i'm calling you now. you could also mention you saw someone with a little dog in their purse and you want that -- i would also ask how far you have to walk a dog that small these are the things i came up with thinking back to before i started doing so much research (which, as you might be able to tell is relatively recently ![]() ![]() | |

| ![]() I know that all these are probably on there already, but here are the questions I could think of: How young will you let me take them home? (possibly push for like 8 wks?) I want a teacup for a purse - those are SOOOO cute! I totally want one! How young can I breed them? (maybe even specifically ask for a girl?) Do they need any more shots when I get them? What will they weigh when they're grown up? Good luck - I'm sure you'll be able to pull it off! Maybe mention not being able to find what you want in a pet store, so you went to them...
