Well, most any subject has a forum here already, but this is a good idea. Maybe it could be an "Action Alert" forum? YorkieTalk, with its many members, could do so much if we could only focus and get people to act.

We do have a lot of members with a canine passion.....and as you say if we could focus and get people to act.

I like the thing about fleas! I think anyone who breeds dogs without love of the actual animals they are creating and without thoughts and knowledge of where those pets are going should be forced to live in crates and pens like the dogs they breed have to endure and see if they like it.

We all know conditions some puppy millers keep their dogs in. However, if we band together we can all do our small part.

I'm planning on going up there on Tuesday, will get the # and if memory serves me there is a website.

If each person calls, once and states their case.....how can they site harrassement....especially if phone calls are coming from all over. Can they change their # absolutely and their website absolutely....but, they'd have to start all over ....isn't that what we want....to make it difficult for them.

I'm in, and I agree if we are all just calling once I wouldn't think it could be linked to us as a group could it?

Remember it's not only this one, but keeping on the alert for others, taking pictures, posting them. Sharing the phone #s or websites so we can all spring into action.......

I might be wrong, but I think if they had proof that it was planned like this, it could be considered harrassment.

I'm in too. get the number I'll call from Canada. We can also call from various phonenumbers. I know pay phones are scarce these days but we could find one or two.

Now it's just not this # it's anytime we encounter a sign, we take a picture and post it, if a number is envolved.....Mmmm I'm thinking about what to say when it's called....no name calling, maybe an educational one sided conversation....could get hung up on.....but, that's ok. The whole thing is to make things difficult for them to continue doing what they're doing.

If the number is on the picture.....or the sign...they've advertised it publically.....they want to be called.

Right....can this also be used for paper ads and internet ads?

Giving this some thought and would like input. We need to make a impact, even if a small one, so it should be organized. Especially the phone calling part.

Not sure about posting internet ads and newspaper ads. I would think it would be legal as they are posting to sell pups....but, we would want to take it one step further and bring it to the forefront. Not all are disreputable because they post ads......but, we all know the drill on weeding those of questionable breeding/selling practices. There's a fine line as to not becoming a witch hunt...

Not so much an advertisement for a particular breed, more like a website who has multiple breeds that can be easily seen as a puppy mill?

I think it would be ok. But, lets open it up for dicussion. I know I would have no qualms in bring them to the attention of everyone.

I am willing to call. Call a bunch. I guess that I could teach my kids how much fun it is to make "prank calls" if they even do that anymore:rolleyes:. Kids love to be a pest.. (all ment in a nice way towards my teenagers):)but the more calls we make it will eventually add up for Bob.
