Wouldn't it....I ended up in ER when I stepped on a Fire Ant Hill, barefoot, wearing Levis...they got up my pant leg...talk about sick.

I know someone had a picture of a sign around Houston. Wish I could remember who is was...we could send the fire ant squad!

Someone posted a sign on a billboard just off the Kennedy Expressway in Chicago that read, "Oprah: Do a show on puppy mills. The dogs need you." After that, Oprah started looking into the problem and now many more people are aware of the problem, and I believe that her show was instrumental in getting some new laws passed. Maybe you ought to send a picture of that sign to her!

My guess is Bob is a puppy broker, and since more people are frowning at dogs being sold in pet stores, we will have more puppy brokers, the individual millers make very little for their pups, the Dane brothers paid less than $200.00 a dog, but brokers turn around and sell these dogs for thousands. So we are raising the standard of living for puppy brokers, not for the dogs.

Btw...does anyone know...when you call 866 #'s, do they get back-charged by the call? Bc if yes, then bombarding them w/ calls is, well, somehow so attractive .

I was stopped at a traffic light in town a few weeks ago. The beat up truck in front of me had a handwritten sign taped to its bumper:

"Purebred Pomeranian puppies for sale, $600. 6 weeks old, first shots. Call XXXXXXXXXX."

It made me sick to my stomach.

I saw a billboard sign several years ago when I went to the Beaumont shows but can't remember the number and it said Yorkies for sale is all I can remember because it was several years ago...the one and only time I've been to Beaumont....I got lost and remember seeing that sign and made me sick to my stomach!! Maybe soon I can make that trip again and see if I can find it...I do have several friends that live in that area maybe we can find it again LOL...and if I do I will get the number and take a picture of it and bomarde them with calls!!

I travel the Kennedy all the time and remember that sign well! Oprah also works with PAWS Chicago and donated huge money for the dogs. Remember when she had all the mill Yorkies on her show after the mill buster. All of the really sick dogs that needed amputations and lost all their teeth went to YTNR. I think most if not all have now been adopted.

Yes they do! I have a 800# for my car dealership & auto repair facility, every time the 800 number is used, I get charged.
