I live in Henderson. About 1/2 way between Memphis & Nashville. And about 30 minutes from Jackson, tn.

Topper and I are out here in Jefferson City about 30 min. east of Knoxville and 20 min. west of Morristown and can't forget Newport we are about 35 min. North of you. Can't believe there are so many of us in this neck of the woods.
I guess I shouldn't leave out DH and the crazy cat!

How about a Michigander who is a Tennessean at heart?

My dad was born and grew up in Dunlap Tn...and we would visit his relatives every year. I so loved it there...and never wanted to leave.
As much as I love Michigan...I dream about heading south, and most likely will take the plunge one day in the near future.

My husband was born and raised in Dearborn, MI. Most of his family has relocated here now. We still go up north for visits every now and again. I like it up north but don't think I could trade TN for anything!

I have two homes-- a house in Alabama, and condo in Knoxville, Tn. I go thereabout once a month. I stay for a wk to 10 days. Actually, my condo is in Farragut. I have an only child (Yorkie) He loves other dogs, but most are bigger than he is. I would love to arrange a play date. I can't tell you how much I've wanted to see Tucker play with another Yorkie. He weighs about 5 lbs. He did weigh 4 and a half. I've been feeding him too much chicken breast. I'll be in Knoxville sometime in April.

I live in Lascassas, Tn. I have a 17 month old yorkie named Fancy. I got her in Sept. after her previous owners didn't have time for her. She is the light of my life. I don't know how I made it without her. She seems to be attached at the hip at times!!lol.. All I can say is that I love her to death.

Oh neat, my mother in law lives in Lascassas.. Your just a hop, skip and a jump from me...I know what you mean, I cannot even remember what my life was like before my Yorkies..

I am from Taft (Fayetteville) , a wide spot in the road, almost on the Alabama border, 90 miles south of Nashville.
