| Clippers for Grooming Can anyone tell me what a really good profession brand of clippers would be?? I keep my yorkies long all except for one and my shihtzu is also long haired. I need something for trimming under there paws and other areas to keep them clean. I've bought cheap clippers that work for a few months then they are as good as garbage. Any suggestions. Price is of no issue. As long as they are lasting.

| I have not gotten the regular clippers to groom yet, but I use the little peanut clippers from Walmart to clip around Reesie's feet and in between the pads.

| Not sure myself but have you posted this in the grooming thread? I'd be interested to know, too.

| I cut my yorkies down each summer. I use the Oster golden A5 clippers and have had great luck with them I had a pair of A5s from about 15 yrs ago when I was a cocker spaniel lover and have used them ever since. My neighbor owns a pair of Andis and they are lighter and quieter but I still like my Osters better. They run about 100.00 new to 115.00 and the blades are about 15.00. I replace my blades every 6 months or so. Well worth the money IMO. |

I bought the cheaper brand clippers in the past and they suck!! Got dull in no time and is low on power even when plugged in. I'm going to get the Oster!!! Thanks so much!!! Thank you everyone else for responding. My babies stay long but I trim them up nicely. Mostly for one of my Yorkie boys and Shih Tzu.

| Make 3500USD+ PER month guaranteed! With surveys for money! I tried one of those online survey sites about 4 months ago that say all you have to do is spend a couple of minutes filling out some surveys and you will be making hundreds a day..... YEAH RIGHT, I didn't make anything. I joined 7 of these stupid websites and I actually tried filling out a couple of surveys on each site and they took forever then at the end they wanted me to buy things or I couldn't complete the survey. These are complete scams so be aware!!! I couldn't believe they were even allowed to sell such bogus products. Then about 2 weeks ago I was watching the news and they had some vice presidents and marketing managers of some major multi million dollar companies talking about a site that they personally work with to pay consumers for their opinion, A site that actually just wants the "average Joe's" honest opinion on products and services and is willing to pay big money to get them. >>>>>>>>>>>>> Welcome To Paidsurveys for more information <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< I tried this site out and it is the only one I have ever seen that actually pays you just to take surveys. I made almost $100 in my first day just filling out 3 simple surveys. This is the only legit survey site online, so if you are interested in making hundreds per day just giving your opinions then make sure you check this out. >>>>>>>>>>>>> Welcome To Paidsurveys for more information <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< P.S. there is a video on the homepage that will explain everything. If I were you I would at least check the video out and if you don't make at least $300 in your first week they have a 2 month refund policy so just get your money back!!! This is definitely worth a look! >>>>>>>>>>>>> Welcome To Paidsurveys for more information <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< -------------------------------------- online paid survey |

| Ok just bought the A5 Double Speed. Very pricey though!! But I don't mind spending it now. As it will last me just from what everyone here has said. Do you use the same one to do their ears with and their paws?

Missing Yoshi Everyday! Donating Member | i recommend the oyster turbo 2 speed....1 speed is enough for a yorkie with no undercoat and since you also have shih-tzu then the 2 speed will work for both...you have the option to switch between the 2 speeds...hehe
