| Is it Faith? I am thinking of naming my new little girl Faith Lynn. Really wasn't what I was thinking on naming her but long story short is that when I went to look at her I wasn't sold on her and wasn't going to get her she was just so timed and shaking when they gave her to me and her hair is a little finer than what I was wanting but my DH said she is just perfect and I'm not leaving without her have faith she will turn out just beautiful so thats when I thought that should be her name Faith. She will turn out to be a beautiful swan as she grows. She seems to be doing pretty well adapting to our home for her first week here. We love her very much. Hopefully I will figure out how to post pictures soon. Last edited by janetvav; 03-15-2010 at 06:30 PM. |

| Faith does sound perfect! Have no fear, it is kind of the same with Jack. He was very quiet and shy and timid. But there was something about him. Oh, and something about my 14 year old daughter telling me to get him. LOL However, since we've had him home, he has stolen the show from our three cats and not to mention, he has stolen our hearts. Your little girl will be perfect and she will be the light of your lives! Have a little faith....

| I have a Faith too. Although, her Registered Name Is This Time Touch N Go. She was premature and almost didn't make it so, hence the registered name and call name.

Congratulations on your new family member. She will have your hearts in no time. I also agree with your husband, but, what would I know. Mardelin, how premature was your puppy and is her health alright now. Did you have any problems? | |

| Faith and her litter were approximately a week early. I lost 2 of her brothers almost immediately. Lungs undeveloped. Faith and her brother Nolan, did fine and were eating well. However, the day I docked their tails and removed dew claws, I noticed Faith began some labored breathing. I began to cry and thought I was going to lose her too. But, she never missed a beat, continued to nurse off her mother like gang busters. I monitored her very closely and within a week the breathing was fine. Took her into the vet to make sure all was fine. Is she fine????? My goodness other than being 4 pounds at 6 months (I'd really love her to be closer to 6) If she gets to that magic 5 pounds...she'll be championed.....she's a holy terror.....beats up on everyone, thinks she's the boss and bigger than she is.

| Something else I'd never experienced. Faith's Brother Nolan (for Nolan Ryan) "This Time Perfect Game" (Faith and his dad Denny Ch. This Time Grand Slam", Grandsire "Ch Tajmor's Major League, Great Grand Sire " 'Ch. Pastoral Junior League" so you can see the baseball theme), didn't open his eyes until day 21. Normal is 10 to 16 days.....vet explained that, that doesn't happen very often it was the indicator that these pups were born a week too early.
