We're going to meet with a breeder tomorrow and check out her puppies, we're very excited! She has 3 males (we really only want a male) so we're hoping one of them will be for us. Ideally we'd prefer a darker puppy, is there any way to tell what their adult coloring will be like when they're puppies (these are about 10 weeks)? Also, does anyone have any good tips on picking out a puppy with a good personality?

I would ask the breeder what previous litter puppies have turned out as far as color. Look at the parents and if possible the grandparents. No real way to predict color.

At 10 weeks, their personalities should be shining. You will be able to see which one is a better fit for you once you spend a little time with them.
