20+hrs of pure torture
 

After coming home from the grocery i was busy getting everything put away
and made supper after eating i noticed Yogi was not present by this time it was dark already i called my son to come help us look for him along with some neighbors we looked & called to him for hours no Yogi to be found.
I was up most of the night printing up flyers and waiting for the daylight so i would be able to see him if he was out there.

I started out before 6:am hanging pictures & flyers everywhere close to my neighborhood. and stuffing them into their paper boxes & on windshields of cars & trucks. and at the moment i was very thankful to YT members for knowing how & what i needed to do.

after going into town and papering all of the store & resturant windows with pics & flyers. i went to the post office and got a pkg with pj's & a jacket i had bought for him that was when i really lost it

I finally made it home & one of my neighbors was waiting for me she was holding my baby she said he came walking across the driveway he was as glad to see me as i was to see him i feel so bad for the ones of you that did not have a happy ending but now i can fully realize the torture that you go through

OMG, I am so glad Yogi is okay!!!, what an unbelievably awful feeling that must have been, I don't even what to imagine it! But what an amazingly wonderful feeling it must have been when you saw him again! :)

Yogi didn't even know he was lost.

I've had 20 minutes of that torture....can't imagine 20 hours and really can't imagine days, weeks, months.

Glad yours had a happy ending.

Yes it was i never expected to see him again so glad to have him home safe

I don't know if he will dart out the door again any time soon he was a big of a wreck as me, he is so fast he can get by without you knowing it

So glad Yogi is back home where he belongs. Hug him tight for me.

OMG Betty I am just now seeing this. I haven't been on much since Thur. I have been sick all week and went back to work yesterday. I am so glad you found your little Yogi. I cannot image the torture you must have been going through. I am so glad you got your baby back safe and sound.

i am so glad you found him...i know the feeling...still after a year or so i am still feeling it...

As I read your post I thought, Oh no, not another one. I'm glad it turned out with a happy ending. I know that Sharon (Joeys Mom) was feeling the same way when he got out.

Reesie has a habit of bolting for the driveway and the great beyond if we're not careful. I think maybe she's bored.

As soon as I saw your post, My thoughts were exactly the same as ReesiesDad, I could not imagine another member going through this. We have had so many this year. I am just so glad that you got him back home safe and sound!

I had just joined when xxmxaxrxyxx lost her beloved Yoshi. My heart still prays that he will be returned yet!

I am very thankful that your baby was found safe and sound, and I'm still praying for a happy ending for the others.

Betty, I am so glad to hear that Yogi found his way home. I can only imagine the torture you were going thru and pray that I never have to experience it first hand. Hug for you and for Yogi too.

Having a missing pet seems like a nightmare. I am glad you found your Yorkie. :)

Yes i to was remembering Mary's nightmare last night as well as the others
and i have always felt that someone took Yoshi nearby Mary's house i pray that he and the others all find their way home

I really believe that Yogi was kept inside last night & fed because once i got him inside he wasn't a bit interested in food

OMG! You poor dear! So glad he's home. I had to put a baby gate up in front or my door, it's a pain till I get them trained, but they are so so fast! Tomorrow I'm going to check the fences for any needed repairs from all the snow we had... I can't be too careful...

Oh Wow, Betty. I've been out most of the day and I'm just now seeing this...I'm so glad Yogi is back home with you. Give him a big hug and kiss for me. This broke my heart. I'm so sorry you had to spend 20+ hours worrying and looking for your baby...What a nightmare! I'm so glad he is okay. and I hope he was inside last night...somewhere nice and warm. I had someone build me a small gate, just before you come in the front door...That way, if the pups dart out, when I open the front door, they only go as far as the porch...It cost me $100 and has paid for itself over and over and over, again...But, when someone rings the doorbell, I have to talk through the front door, and ask them if the gate is closed, or I'm not opening the door lol...

Oh gosh Betty!! So glad you found Yogi. What a great neighbor! I'd be kissing that woman! lol
