| I think Bailey is shrinking! I had Bailey weighed at the vet a month ago and he was 3.10lbs, I just had him weighed today and he is 3.8lbs..I even asked the girl to try the machine again just to be sure, I had a clip in his hair last time, could that account for the extra ounces last time? I thought for sure Bailey had put on weight, he is such a little piggy, I am so wanting him to get to 4lbs, he will be 11 months next week. Do you all think he may sprout? I worry a lot about Baley becasue he is fearless and constantly trying to jump off things

| Aww bless him! I'm sure a couple of ounces is nothing to worry about. Maybe he had a full bladder the first time he was weighed, that may be why. |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | He'll probably meet your 4 lb goal in the next few months. Roxy continued to add a little weight & added a little in size measurements after she was 11 mo. Not sure she's done yet & she's 16 mo old now. Her body weight feels about the same as it did when she was 11 mo old... I mean she doesn't feel fatter.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Awwww . He just may sprout yet, Darlene. I was very worried about my Marcel, bc I thought he was going to be even tinier than he ended up, which scared me. I think the tinier ones do have spurts later - his teeth came later, hormones later, everything. He still ended up being small (3.3-ish, but sturdy)...but I was really freaking that he wasn't going to make 3. He does have to use his own little stairs for the bed and sofa .

| You're right of course. But I think they mean 3 lbs 10 oz, and 3 lbs 8 oz. That's how they write it at Snoopy's vet.

| Ooo, sorry, I may have got it wrong! I just assumed she meant 3 lbs 10 oz, and 3 lbs 8 oz the next time! Sorry if I was wrong! |

| Jamie actually lost a little weight about that age. When he was 9 months he weighed 4 lbs 8 ounces, but at 17 months he weighed 3 lbs and 12 ounces. I was worried too and posted a thread here and everyone reassured me that it could be a lot of things like the scale or water weight. OR it might just be him settling in at his perfect weight.

| Oh, that little Bailey...Mr. Beautiful!!! My goal, for Apple, was 5 lbs., and was having trouble getting her there, until I switched her to raw...For her weight, it says to give her one medallion, twice a day...She wasn't getting over 4 lbs. 12 oz., so I upped the anty to 1 1/2 medallions, twice a day, and voila, she made it to 5 lbs...She'd probably eat 5 medallions a meal, if I'd let her, but I've got to keep her girlish figure, for good health...Now the Buzzy Boy, oh my...he's supposed to be getting 4 medallions a day, but he's a couch potatoe, so we've had to cut back to 3 a day, to keep him from getting too rolly polly...I think Mr. Bailey is going to do fine, whatever his mama does for him, because she loves him so much!!! |
