| Hi, new here with our rescued yorkie Hi, we found a stray Yorkie a month ago and it's starting to look like no one is going to claim her (put up flyers, CL, humane society, animal control etc) . When we found her she was just a messy, poopy ball of hair. She had sticks stuck to her and her eyes were crusted shut. When I found her she would walk to one curb, turn around and then walk across the street to the other curb and then repeat. I'm not going to reveal too many details for now since it will be used to verify anyone claiming to be her owner. I'm looking forward to finding great info on these boards. We already have a Boston Terrier (4 yrs old) and the two get along like siblings. |

| Hello and welcome to YT! I hope that you are able to find the owners to to the new baby you found, but it is nice to know that you were able to take her in and give her a good loving home. I am sure you will find a lot of great information on here. YT is a great place. |

| I'm so glad she found you. It sounds like she has never been cared for at all. Have you taken her to a vet yet to have her checked out, especially since you have another doggie?

| She was definitely neglected, which is why I'm thinking no one will claim her. Yep, took her to the emergency vet the same evening we found her and then again with our vet for an exam and full round of vaccinations. The emergency vet said Dori was out in the cold for at least 2 months, which was when we had really heavy rainfall . We plan to get full bloodwork done soon as well. Let's just say goodbye tax refund . Yep, I will search the boards lots, my day job is databases . |

| Whether she has parents or not...she was lucky you found her or she would surely be dead by now. You are a good person.

| Oh I'm so happy you found each other. I'm not too sure how hard I would be at finding an owner. Bless you for helping her.
